Im going to look online and see it they make single shot 25-35. My buddy has a old winchester lever rifle and its in 25-35 and he said its a carbine model, shorter, he also has the original saddlering octagon barrel 25-35 but wants 1700$ , $750 for the 25-35

I have a Spanish Mauser 93 Carbine. all original matching numbers, and chromed. Nice shooter with my handloads. Did I say all the metal is chromed? Zero collectors value, but it is a pretty parade rifle, as well as a nice shooter.

I do wonder if the receivers are interchangeable with these and if you can swap the fore-ends with out harming them. I only have the 20 gauge version but seeing the rifle one peaked my curiosity of having two barrels and one receiver for both

As a handloader I found mine would not handle full pressure 7.62 NATO, but only starting loads. The most accurate starting load would probably 39.1 grains of IMR3031 with a 165/168 grain bullet. This would be 2,200 to 2,300fps out of the short 17.3 inch barrel. This is the recipe for the old Navy match load, and it happens to be just below 46,000CUP, or 51,000 psi, the maximum pressure for 7x57. Better safe than sorry.... As mine was made prior to 1898, I was able to sell it as an antique here in the U.S. for $800.00. Only the bore was in very good condition. The rest of the rifle was beat up.

The Russian Tula manufactured , double barrel 12 guage shotguns, were well made. They were excellent shooters, with nice accurate shot patterns. They come in 12 , 16, & I believe 20 guage. A well made double barrel shotgun, with old time outside hammers or rabbit ears. Kevin Phoenix

I just picked one of these up. Former owner sratched the barrel with a razor and the stock is cracked near the tang as well. Have you had any issues with lug setback shooting the commercial .308 ammunition?

That rifle will never ever "pipe bomb" no matter what you do to it with black powder.

Original Precision makes a plug to match the metal and get rid of the Hillary Hole. And 5 Star speed loaders has a aluminum speed loader for the model 69 five round cylinder.

You might get it ported by Mag-na-port and use a Hogue 500 S&W sorbethane padded rubber grip to help with the recoil.

12/18/2021 Illinois, USA I just bought one from a store for $120 in "almost new" condition. Between this and a Hatfield, I chose this. I already have a Hatfield. I bought it last year.......Hatfield has it in their shop with thousands of others.

For me, I’d most likely use FFFg powder. Some .31 pistoleros use FFFFg, which is mostly for flintlock pans. Wish you would have shown some “lusty closeups” of your rifle! Nice to know ya “matey”! I have a CBC 151 in caliber 12. They are very good. Even by the most demanding American standards, single-barrel models are durable, robust and accurate. Now they started manufacturing a pipe again here in Brazil. The so-called ``monotyro ´´ But they are not as good as they were even in the 90s.

I had a 12ga one when I was a kid I sold it. I'm looking at another one at the gun store. Great memories
